My journey into becoming a barber started while I was working the front desk at a barbershop and attending the Institute of Beauty and Wellness. When I graduated in 2010, I decided I wanted to work behind the chair at the shop I was already at. I instantly grew passionate as I honed my skills behind the chair and have been making men dapper for over a decade.

I am American Crew trained and have attended the American Crew Academy in Denver, CO multiple times throughout my journey. I eventually went on to learn and work for the technical director of American Crew and other international educators.

In 2022, I decided it was time to take the next step in my career and work for myself as an independent barber. 

People ask me why I chose barbering over anything and I always say I enjoy connecting with my clients on a personal level and I love the attention to detail. I enjoy working with all lengths of hair and every cut is made with a purpose.

I am excited to be starting my next chapter in my independent chair, “The Jolly Barber” at Zuri and Floyd and look forward to meeting you!
